Using Interactive Maps

This section explains and demonstrates different ways to use interactive maps:

• Run a tour standalone in a browser
• Link to a tour from a web page
• Embed a tour into a web page
• Use a tour like a mobile app

To make using a tour easy, MapsAlive provides the HTML code you need to link to or embed a tour.

When you publish a tour, it is ready to use because the tour is automatically hosted on the MapsAlive web server. However, if you prefer, you can host tours on your server and they will work the same way.
